Application areas:
Process water: XIGA 40 ultrafiltration membrane elements can effectively block suspended solids and sludge.
The permeate can be used directly as process water. If the salinity and the amount of soluble solids exceed the limit, the permeate should be sent to the downstream RO system.
Deep treatment of wastewater: XIGA 40 ultrafiltration membrane elements are a reliable solution that meets the highest standards of turbidity and microbiology. Deeply treated water can be reused for advanced purposes at any time.
Notes:
The new Pentair SXL-225-FSFC ultrafiltration membrane can be stored in the original packaging. The membrane assembly contains a water-soluble protective liquid, including glycerol (20wt%) and sodium metabisulfite (1wt%).
The membrane assembly should be stored in a dry, ventilated place, away from fire, heat sources, and avoid direct sunlight. The storage temperature is 0 to 40℃.
The membrane assembly is not allowed to be placed in a freezing environment.
The storage time of the membrane assembly in the user's warehouse is 6 months from the time when Norit X-Flow transfers its ownership to the user for unused and unopened membranes under correct storage conditions. After the maximum period of 6 months, all warranty terms will be invalid unless the parties have a written agreement otherwise.
The ultrafiltration membrane after use needs to be kept in a moist condition.
When placed or stored, to prevent bacteria from growing in the membrane, the wet membrane needs to be treated with a suitable bactericide. The ultrafiltration membrane can withstand many common bactericides or antimicrobial agents; when it is temporarily suspended, it can be rinsed with 2.0ppm of effective chlorine dissolved in the filtered water for 30 to 60 minutes every day to inhibit bacterial growth.
For long-term storage, the membrane needs to be thoroughly cleaned before sterilization. 1% sodium sulfite can be used for sterilization. In any state, the membrane should be filled with protective liquid for storage.
